For mountain bikers who love great mountain bike routes, 1000 km of circuits on a unique and permanent route all around the Corrèze.

Discover the Regional Natural Park of Millevaches and the Limousin forests on the 19 stages of the Haute-Corrèze.

The routes are divided into sectors of 10 to 20 km; more than 200 communes are crossed throughout the Corrèze.

SAINT HILAIRE LUC – LIGINIAC

  • Station of the Transcorrézien or “Tacot” in Liginiac: the most used steam tramway of Haute-Corrèze, connecting Tulle and Ussel in Corrèze.
  • Viaduct of the Rochers Noirs in Soursac : classified as a historical monument in 2000. This audacious work spans the gorges of the Luzège at a height of 92 meters.
  • Lake of Triouzoune, Neuvic bank : picnic area on the beach, 410 hectares on three communes Liginiac, Neuvic and Sérandon.
  • Neuvic’s town center : city of education, culture and leisure. Its wealth: nature and a tradition of transmission of knowledge.
  • Belvedere of Gratte Bruyère in Sérandon : superb view on the confluence of the Dordogne and the Sumène rivers and on the dam of l’Aigle built between 1935 and 1945. A picnic area is available on the site.
  • Church of Sérandon : among the most beautiful Romanesque churches of the Limousin, in particular thanks to its porch with symbolic characters as well as animals which represent avarice, lust, pride and anger.

LIGINIAC – ST GERMAIN LAVOLPS

  • Lake of Triouzoune, bank of Liginiac : picnic area on the beach, 410 hectares on three communes Liginiac, Neuvic and Sérandon.
  • Church of St Martial in Liginiac : Romanesque church of the XIIth century. It has a particularity quite rare in France, its bell tower separated from the rest of the church is placed perpendicular to the entrance.
  • Viaduct of the Chavanon in Monestier-Merlines : Technical and aesthetic feat of 360m length which overhangs the wild valley of the same name. A link between the Limousin and the Auvergne.
  • Gorges du Chavanon in Monestier-Merlines : Gorges, forest cover and impressive gneiss rocks are visible on the horizon.
  • Massif des Agriers in Eygurande : 600 hectares of forest with heather moors.
  • Arboretum of the Massif des Agriers in Lamazière-Haute : 60 deciduous and coniferous trees line the moors and heaths on 4 hectares, a paradise for hikers and naturalist photographers.
  • Panorama of the Puy du Vareyron in Couffy-sur-Sarsonne : Orientation table on the Puy du Vareyron, in the Agriers massif. Viewpoint on the Limousin and the Monts d’Auvergne.
  • Forest of Mirambel in Saint-Rémy : with its 1000 hectares, it is one of the biggest old forests of Limousin : it constitutes a Site of Major Ecological Interest on the territory of the PNR of Millevaches in Limousin.
  • Etang du Grattadour in La Courtine: set in a remarkable natural setting, classified as a Natural Zone of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest, 5 hectares equipped with a path of 1.3 km that will allow you to walk around it.
  • Lake of Ponty in Ussel : 18 hectares and a natural setting for any moment of relaxation.

ST GERMAIN LAVOLPS – BUGEAT

  • Arboretum of St Setiers : 1km path, 130 species of trees, coniferous and deciduous, young or several hundred years old.
  • Orientation table of the Col de la Croix de la Mission in Saint Setiers : views on the Mont d’Auvergne and Plomb du Cantal
  • The Chapel and the Saint Sagitaire Fountain in Saint Setiers: The spring is reputed to cure eye diseases. The water from the fountain is one of the first tributaries of the Vienne.
  • Recumbent statue of Saint-Merd les Oussines : in the church. It is the only granite recumbent from this period preserved in Limousin which was not destroyed during the Revolution, 14 granite recumbents are known.
  • Site of Cars in Peyrols sur Vézère : Gallo-Roman vestiges famous by its granite monolithic ferry.
  • Village of Bugeat, land of granite : in the heart of the Plateau de Millevaches, typical granite houses, contemporary sculptures, church and stained glass windows.
  • House of Granite in Bugeat : in the premises of Tourism Haute-Corrèze.
