For thousands of years, mankind has scrutinized the heavens, trying to decipher their future, to detect the signs of a beneficial rainfall for their culture or any other omen, until the switch to a more rational approach, as early as Greek Antiquity, with the study of the solar system.
From Galileo's earliest drawings, through the Renaissance, Romanticism, Impressionism and Symbolism to contemporary creations, artists have always been attracted by celestial objects.
With this new exhibition, discover a body of work on the theme of the sky, the night, the moon, the planets and the stars.
Organized in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the NRP and the RICE label.
