Did you know that ‘Millevache’ or Millevacca means a thousand sources, thereby giving the Haute-Corrèze its name ‘water tower of France’ ? Also nicknamed the ‘Limousin Mountain’. The Corrèze, the Creuse, the Vézère and the Vienne all have their sources in the Haute-Corrèze. In this huge granite plateau there are a number of canals and rivers and it is punctured by several natural and artificial ponds and lakes.
